GPS

The road to PowerPark is relatively new and does not appear on all Navigator maps. Although the official address of PowerPark is PUISTOTIE 3, the recommended address for navigational purposes is JORMA LILLBACKANTIE 1. ALAHÄRMÄ is an area belonging to the city of Kauhava.

ACCESS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

VIA TRAIN:

The nearest train stops approximately 1.5 km from PowerPark. As of June 19, 2017 some north and southbound trains stop in Härmä during the summer months. There is a connecting bus service to the Amusement Park from the railway station for all trains.

During the off-season the nearest train stop is in Kauhava, approximately 25 km from PowerPark. For information on train schedules visit: www.vr.fi

VIA BUS:

Bus schedules can be found at: www.matkahuolto.fi. The buses stop in Alahärmä, approximately 2-3 km from PowerPark.


PARKING

FREE PARKING
Turning off Highway 19, just past the field, a short distance from the Amusement Park there is free parking in a sizeable parking lot.

PAID PARKING
Parking next to the Power Palace Indoor and MSC Outdoor Karting Centres are paid parking areas.

HANDICAPPED PARKING
Handicapped Parking is free in the spaces reserved for handicapped patrons.

RV AND TRAILER PARKING
There are designated Day Parking areas for RV's and Trailers

PARKING FOR HOTEL, COTTAGE AND CAMPGROUND PATRONS
Free Parking is available for patrons residing in hotels, cottages or campgrounds. Parking Passes can be obtained from the Information Centre.

EVENT PARKING
A parking fee will be incurred during all special events and happenings.


REGISTRATION AND CHECKING OUT

During the winter months all hotel, apartment, cottage, and campground guests check-in and check-out is at the Park Hotel Härmä reception. During the summer months, from June 7 to August 11, 2018 hotel guests can check-in and check-out at the Park Hotel reception. Cottage and Campground guests can check-in and check-out at the PowerPalace Info.

FIRST AID

The First Aid Centre is located near the west entrance to the Amusement Park. Remember to take any necessary personal medications with you. The nearest pharmacy is in Alahärmä's centre, 2 km from the Amusement Park.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES - GIVE THE GIFT OF FUN AND ADVENTURE

Would you like to be the giver of joy? The receiver of the gift certificate can choose their pleasure from a vast array of products and services. The gift card is valid at the following places:

PowerPark Funband and Ticket Sales, all restaurants and coffee shops in the Park's shopping district (exception: Korulandia - jewelry store)

The Horse Centre, Karting Centres, Magnum Movie Theatre, Park Hotel Härmä, Palace Cafe

Road House, Junker, Boulevard Bistro, Bakery Voila, Gelato Dolce, Cheese & Wine,

H-lihapalvelu (meat service), Finn Mari, Highway Brand Outlet,

Gift Cards are available in any amount and may be purchased at the Info Centre and the Road House as well as other shops and locations at the Park.

Gift cards are not redeemable at K-Market or Subway.


PET ETIQUETTE

Pets are not allowed in the Amusement Park. Pets are permitted in the Horse Area. There is a dog park located at the Horse Centre.

Pets must be kept on leashes at all times in the area. Dog-sitting services are available at the Horse Centre for €20/day, during the hours of operation of the Amusement Park. You are responsible for supplying your own dog food. You may bring toys, blankets, sleeping nest and other sundries for your dog.

The Park Hotels do not allow pets. There are a few cottages and 2-person rooms which allow pets. Should you wish to bring your pet with you to PowerPark, you must inform staff at the time of booking. There is an additional accommodation fee of €15 for pets.


LOST AND FOUND

The Lost and Found is located at the Park's west entrance. Inquires can be made at info@powerpark.fi (Please include a detailed description of the lost item, the date it was lost, as well as a return address so the item can be returned. The recipient of the package will be responsible for the postage fees.)

At the beginning of each month unclaimed items valued at €20 or more will be brought to the local Police Station in Lapua. Items deemed to be valued at less than €20 will be kept for a month and consequently will be disposed of following that time.

If you notice that you have lost something during your visit inquiries can be made at the Park's Info. Lost items will be brought to the Park's Info at the end of the day.

 

PAYMENT

Valid credit/debit cards and cash (EUROS)

There is no ATM at the Park. The closest ATM is at Ässä, located in Härmä.


WEATHER CONTINGENCIES

The weather (for example, thunder storms), technical difficulties or other unforseen circumstances may require changes in programming or shutting down the Amusement Park rides. There is a no refund policy on tickets and Funbands.

STORAGE

You can lock up your valuables. Coin operated locking storage lockers are located at the Info Centre near the west entrance. Pin code operated storage lockers are located in front of the Skaala Restaurant.

CARRIAGE RENTALS

Carriages/strollers can be rented from the Info Centre located near the west entrance of the park. A refundable security deposit must be left at the time of rental. The security deposit will be refunded once the carriage/stroller is returned.

CAMERAS AND PHOTOGRAPHING AT THE PARK

Permission must be obtained prior to photographing in the Park. Permission can be obtained from the Park's Contact Person/ Duty Officer, who can assess the suitability of the camera and the security of its mounting or harnessing.

Due to the nature of the rides, (for example, the Junker, Pegasus, Booster, Cobra) which spin the passengers upside down, the suitability of the camera and its mounting- or harnessing must be assessed prior to granting permission to use the camera in the park. Cellular phones and regular cameras are not permitted on the rides. All cameras must have a secure fastening system, such as helmet mounted, or a a secure harness. Gro-Pro, helmet or harness type cameras may be allowed. Permission must be obtained. PowerPark is not responsible for any damage incurred to cameras or other devices.

PowerPark is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

PERSONAL AIDES

Should a guest require a personal-aide due to a physical, hearing, seeing or developmental disorder, the customer's personal-aide will be granted courtesy access so they can join their ward on the rides and provide optimal service to the assisted person. This same courtesy is extended to personal-aides of autistic and dysphasic children . The personal-aide must be at least 15 years of age, and the dependent must possess a valid ticket or funband.Further inquiries regarding tickets/funbands for personal-aides can be made at the Ticket Depot.
