PowerPark happily presents: the 2024 season of fun, beginning at PowerPark on Saturday 11 May 2024. PowerPark wants to offer a fun amusement park experience for everyone this summer, too. The amusement park rises in the middle of the national landscapes of Southern Ostrobothnia and it is known for its wide entertainment area, uncompromising cleanliness and, of course, a large selection of activities for the whole family.

The wonderous entertainment centre PowerPark is an astonishing sight amidst the endless expanse of land. A person heading to Härmä for the first time may fall off their seat in disbelief when PowerPark appears in sight. The silhouette of PowerPark features the magnificent world-class Mika Salo Circuit karting track and over 40 amusement park rides. In addition, Funland includes the home of trolls and pixies known as Imagine Nation, a high-quality minigolf course, an indoor karting track, the magnificent shopping centre RoadHouse, a huge event and multipurpose arena and a lovely equestrian centre.

However, PowerPark’s numerous amusements and experiences have not appeared from thin air, even though at the turn of the millennium at PowerPark’s location there was nothing but turnips as far as the eye could see. Right at the beginning of the millennium, the magnificent Mika Salo Circuit go-kart track was constructed in the area. This race track has had the honour to host EC and WC go-karting. After the go-kart trackwas constructed, PowerPark confidently set out to become a full-service leisure entertainment centre. Soon, a high-quality hotel and the first amusement park rides were built in the area – the recipe for the most entertaining tourist destination in Finland was ready. Since then, PowerPark has received numerous recognitions, such as the title of the best leisure centre in Finland in a total of six different years, and the 2015 tourism company award.
The secret of PowerPark is diversity. PowerPark also has a lot to offer for the little ones in the family, including activities in the troll village, safari rides and pony rides. We have not forgotten about the daredevils either, as PowerPark has many well-known thrilling rides, such as the Junker and the Booster. The unparalleled roller coaster Pitts Special, which was built in 2020, is also sure to make your head spin!
How can I get to PowerPark
Funland PowerPark is located in the middle of Finland, surrounded by the national landscapes of Southern Ostrobothnia in Alahärmä, Kauhava. PowerPark can be conveniently reached by car or, in summer, by train from anywhere in Finland. Funland is about an hour’s drive from Seinäjoki, Vaasa and Kokkola. You can arrive by train from Tampere in less than two hours and from Oulu and Helsinki in about three. Even from Turku and Lapland, the journey takes only about four hours by train. We arrange a free bus transportation directly to the gates of the amusement park from Härmä railway station. If you want to travel by car and perhaps experience other amazing domestic resorts on your trip, we have plenty of free parking available just a minute’s walk from the amusement park.
