PowerPark has plenty of free parking space! Free parking spaces can be found in a large grassy area, when exiting Finnish national road 19 (Valtatie 19) just before the amusement park.
You have to pay for the parking next to the Palace Arena and the A stand of the Outdoor Karting Centre. You can pay for the parking easily with the EasyPark app.
Disabled parking is free everywhere. Separate parking spaces are reserved for buses, camper vans and caravans.
Guests staying overnight at PowerPark can obtain a free parking permit from the information point for the parking spaces next to the hotel.
During major events, parking is subject to a fee in all parking areas.
Yes! You can ask the ride operator for a Ride Buddy and one will be there shortly.
Ride Buddies are PowerPark employees who can accompany your child to rides that they cannot or dare not go on their own. However, the child’s parent or another adult accompanying the child must be present in the vicinity of the ride while it’s running. You can recognise the Park Buddies by their green attention vests.
Long queues may have to be cut near the closing time, if it looks like not everyone will be able to make it onto the ride. This way, no one needs to wait for nothing, and you can use the remaining time having fun in other rides.
Yes, you can book our karting tracks for private events. We will organise you and your group an unforgettable racing experience, where you have the opportunity to race one another!

Yes you can! You can buy gift cards from any of our sales points, or alternatively from the online store.
PowerPark gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase, and you can use them as a payment method in all of PowerPark’s sales points.
Pets are not allowed in the amusement park area and they must be kept on a leash in other areas. Please do not leave your dog in the car! Read more about PowerPark’s Pet Park here.
Unfortunately, the amusement park does not count as a sports or cultural activity, so it is not possible to pay with Tyky, cultural vouchers or similar vouchers.
It is possible to pay by cash in PowerPark. The nearest ATM is located in the shopping centre Road House.
For safety reasons, you can only use GoPro or other chest or helmet mounted camera, and the camera must be securely attached. With a chest-mounted camera you can film in all rides, unless the camera obstructs ride safety bar functions. The use of the helmet camera may be limited on some rides, where the movements of the ride are stronger, such as Pegasus. Ride operators will check the cameras at the rides, and issue a filming permit, if the camera meets the requirements.
Yes you can! Bringing your own food or snacks is allowed in the park’s outdoor areas. You can make use of the benches and tables found all around the park.
Both of the PowerPark campgrounds have saunas for customer use. The saunas are heated in the evenings in Rio Grande at 6-10 p.m and in Green Field 6-9 p.m.
The guardian (person over the age of 15 years) can accompany a child on some of the rides free of charge. The child must have a Funband or a single ticket. These rides have been marked with a Croco icon, to which a parent or a guardian can accompany the child free of charge. However, some rides for young children have height and weight restrictions that may prevent a guardian from accessing the device.

An assistant to a paying customer with a disability and needing individual support has free access to the rides and facilities with the customer. A person with a disability can prove their need for assistance with an EU disability card (with an A-marking) or some other document or statement. The park will also grant an assistant permit to a person with a disability who needs it on a case-by-case basis.
An assistant permit requires that the person to be assisted has paid for an admission ticket, a wristband or is in possession of another ticket product. As a general rule, an assistant permit can only be granted to one assistant. As a general rule, the assistant must be of legal age. An underaged person can also act as an assistant on a case-by-case basis. The assistant must actually be able to act as an assistant.
PowerPark received last summer a brand new ride called La Corrida! La Corrida is a hilarious bull ride for the whole family. In this ride, you can climb on the back of a bull and try your best to stay on it! Read more about all Powerpark’s memorable rides here.
High power chraging station by Recharge is located beside PowerPark’s own shopping mall RoadHouse by the highway 19. Station has 6 CCS chargers with max 185 kilowatts charging power and 1 CHAdeMO charger. PowerPark also has own CHAdeMO charger at the big Palace Areena beside the amusement park. If you charge with PowerPark’s own CHAdeMO charger, you can pay it at the reception of Park Hotel Härmä.
All our restaurants have a gluten-free and a vegan option on the menu (no vegan options from the Snack Shop or Sibylla) We take vegans into consideration in our lunch restaurants as well. If there are no vegan options available, we will prepare it to order for our customers!
We also want to take all other special diets into consideration as well as possible. You can ask for more information from our restaurant staff, and we will do our best to arrange a suitable alternative.
PowerPark does not currently offer season tickets.
There are storage lockers in front of restaurant Skaala, located inside the park. The lockers at the front of the restaurant work with a pin-code.
Imagine Nation does not have a separate payment, so everyone can go say hi to the trolls also without a Funband. Entrance to Imagine Nation is located inside of the amusement park gates.
Temporarily we might need to make changes to schedules or close some of the amusement rides due to bad weather (for example thunderstorm), technical reasons or other exceptional situations. Please note that usually rain or light wind will not affect rides’ opening hours but with too low temperature we might have to close some of the rides, like wet rides. In these type of situations bought tickets and wristbands will not be refunded.
Pre-purchased tickets are typically delivered by e-mail, so you can buy the tickets in advance on the same day or even while you’re on your way.

The accommodation price list displayed in the online store is valid only for reservations made there. For reservations made by phone or e-mail have their own price list.
It is a good idea to book early, because during peak season the accommodation is almost always sold out. In addition to accommodation, you can already buy Funbands from the same online store.
During season time, you can travel to PowerPark by train from both the South and North directions. The railway station is located in Härmä on the Helsinki-Oulu main line, about 1.5 km away from PowerPark. There is a free PowerPark direct bus service from the station to the amusement park for all trains stopping at the station, and a shuttle bus service from the amusement park back to the station.
Outside of the summer season, the nearest station is located in Kauhava city center, about 25 kilometres away from PowerPark. You can find more detailed train timetables here and on the VR website.
Buses run to Alahärmä all year round. Buses stop in Alahärmä center about 2.5km away from the amusement park. The easiest way to find bus routes and timetables is to visit the Matkahuolto website.
During rain or when the asphalt is wet, we have to close the outdoor track. There are no other weather restrictions.
The nearest amusement park gate is about 500 metres from the large grassy parking area. Palace Arena and Outdoor karting tracks paid parking spaces are located right next to the gates of the amusement park.
Pre-purchased tickets are always valid until the end of the season on one day of your choice. For more detailed validity periods, see the description of the ticket item. When a ticket is exchanged for a Funband on the spot or when a Funband is purchased directly from the park’s ticket kiosk, the Funband is valid for that day and cannot be reused later.

If you are already registered to our system, you need to only tell us your name at the cashier.
You have to climb onto each PowerPark ride. We have designed boarding most rides to be as easy as possible. Some have a very shallow rise, others higher, but it varies ride by ride. The staff are willing to help people with reduced mobility to get into the rides to the best of their ability!
Children under 2 years old have free admission, if the guardian has either a ticket or a Funband. Note that each ride has its own safety restrictions.
You can take a pet with you to following accommodation: Future Cottages, Silverstone Cabins with no sauna, some of the Green Field Cabins and Tirol Cabins, and also in some of the San Marino rooms.
Pets are not allowed in hotel rooms, however. Pets must always be notified when booking accommodation. A pet fee of 15 € is charged.
You can buy Funbands in advance from the PowerPark’s online store. Pre-purchased Funbands are valid on one day of your choice until the end of the period in question.
Pre-purchased tickets are exchanged for Funbands at the amusement park gates where there is a dedicated ticket kiosk for pre-purchased tickets. You can enter the PowerPark online store here!
Rio Grande Camping has a cosy outdoor swimming pool that is meant for all visitors staying overnight in Rio Grande area, and also customers staying in Park Hotel Härmä.
Amusement park entrance costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 15 years old and pensioners. The entrance fee gives access to the amusement park area during its hours of operation.

If the card has a marking entitling you to skip queues, you can get the stamp from the amusement park’s service point. Access to the rides with the “skip queues” stamp mainly happens through the exit, in accordance with the ride operator’s or ticket inspector’s instructions.

MAXI Funband is for those over 130cm and mini wristbands for children under 130cm tall. Please measure the members of your group closely before purchasing Funbands, because we will check height limits latest before entering rides. With careful measuring, you avoid any extra trouble caused by exchanging Funbands. We do not reimburse the cost of replacing incorrectly measured Funbands.
Please note that with the Funband for under 130cm you cannot enter certain rides, if the person is over 130cm tall.
Outdoor Karting
Outdoor Karting minimum height limit is 160 cm. Those under 160 cm can only ride on a tandem kart in the outdoor track.
Indoor Karting
Everyone over 130 cm tall can drive on the indoor track. The indoor track also has tandem karts for two, so even the youngest ones can enjoy karting.
The karting height limits are absolute, and they are meant to ensure a safe driving experience for our customers!

The height restrictions set for the rides are checked at the latest before accessing the rides. The possible safety bar in the rides may limit access to the rides by a large person. The maximum height and weight restrictions are based on those accepted by the safety authorities and set by the ride manufacturers.

In PowerPark, you can stay in a hotel, a private apartment, a log cabin, a caravan, a tree-top cabin or campgrounds with a caravan, camper or tent.

You cannot buy amusement park tickets or Funbands with any Tyky payments under tax regulations.
Smartum, Edenred, Tyky and ePassi are accepted as a means of payment in Karting, Minigolf and the movie theatre.
In PowerPark’s restaurants and cafés, you can pay with meal vouchers, Smartum, EdenRed and ePassi.
Hotel rooms and cottages are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and no later than 12 noon on the day of departure. Campgrounds are available from 1pm on the day of arrival and check-out no later than 12 noon on the day of departure.
Check-in to rooms, apartments and cottages is done at the reception of Park Hotel Härmä (Puistotie 3, Alahärmä/Kauhava).
Check-in for campgrounds and tent pitches is done at the Road House information desk (Jorma Lillbackantie 21).
Outside the summer season, check-in for all accommodation (rooms, cottages, camping) takes place at the reception of Park Hotel Härmä.

Movie theatre is open daily during the amusement park’s hours of operation. 5D movies play on a non-stop basis between 1 pm-6:30 pm, after which we show long premiere movies according to a separate schedule.

PowerPark is located in the South Ostrobothnian national landscapes of Lakeus in Kauhava, which is in the area of the former municipality Alahärmä. The largest cities nearby are Seinäjoki, Vaasa and Kokkola, in the middle of which lies Finland’s most amazing amusement park and tourist attraction.
A person heading to Härmä for the first time may fall off their seat in disbelief when PowerPark appears in sight. The silhouette of PowerPark features the magnificent world-class Mika Salo Circuit karting track and over 40 amusement park rides. In addition, PowerPark includes the home of trolls and pixies known as Imagine Nation, a high-quality minigolf course, an indoor karting track, the magnificent shopping centre Road House, a huge event and multipurpose arena and a lovely equestrian centre.
Hotel rooms and Apartments have an included breakfast in the price. In addition, the following cottages include breakfast: Wild West Wagons, Tree House Roost and Little Sisters Cabins cottages.
However, everyone is welcome to join breakfast on 7am-10:30 am.
Breakfast prices are:
- 15 € adults and those over 12 years old.
- 7,50 € children under the age of 12.
- 0-3 years old children for free.
In season 2022, the 5D movies are Sherlock Holmes, Bumper Car and Canyon Coaster.

You can find an ATM in shopping centre Road House, which you can use to withdraw money easily for your day of fun. The most common credit and debit cards are accepted as a means of payment.
