The Mika Salo Circuit, designed by F1 driver Mika Salo, is one of the most beautiful outdoor karting circuits in the world. The 1,200-metre track, curving along the banks of a river, has hosted the world’s top drivers at the European and World Karting Championships. The track’s unique profile, with its bankings and oval corner, will challenge even the most experienced driver’s racing lines. The outdoor track also features massive covered spectator stands for 2,000 spectators for major karting events.
 
Guided by our professional staff and in safe conditions, you can drive and race either in hired cars or your own equipment. There are also a few two-seater tandem cars available on the track, which can accommodate the youngest members of the family.<\/p>\n\n\n

Online Booking for 10min and 20min individual races<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

You can now pre-purchase races for the outdoor track, either for yourself or for a group (up to 15 people). You can book and pay for your race up to 3 days in advance. Minimum driver height is 160cm. Please also check the weather forecast for our area before booking, as the outdoor track is closed in rainy conditions. Read the terms below. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled race time. By booking, you agree to the service and cancellation terms. If you’ve made and paid for a reservation online, simply check in at the Pit Lane Caf\u00e9 counter and head to the track!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terms of service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You must arrive 30 minutes before your reserved race time. Missed reservations will not be refunded. Please ensure you arrive early for preparations, especially during busy times and\/or with larger groups. Every participant must have a driver profile in our system. The driver profile can be created in advance through the app, on our website, or on-site. If you are purchasing races for multiple people, send the link to other participants so they can create their driver profiles and register in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booking and Cancellation Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Advance reservations will not be refunded or reimbursed if the customer fails to show up. Schedule changes to a customer\u2019s reservation may be possible, depending on track availability. We reserve the right to make minor scheduling changes or delays, and these do not entitle the customer to a refund. In case of rain, unused race sessions will be compensated with race session cards for the reserved amount, but no monetary refunds will be given. These terms apply to bookings made through the online reservation system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During the summer season, you can arrive & drive by registering on the spot!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the season, everyone is welcome to test the track’s tight corners and enjoy the fantastic surroundings! The Mika Salo Circuit is open from the beginning of May until the end of September, weather permitting. During the summer season, the outdoor karting circuit is usually open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but for safety reasons, the circuit is not open in rainy weather. Opening times may also be affected by private events, which you can see in the attached booking calendar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karting is organised in 10-minute slots, with a maximum of 15 cars on the track at a time. Register at the Pit Lane Caf\u00e9 on site for same-day slots, but you can start right away if there is space on the track! However, especially in the summer season, waiting times can be long, but you can book a time slot first thing in the morning and come back in the afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not take bookings in advance for individual drivers, but when planning a trip, you can check the booking situation in advance on the booking calendar. We require all drivers to register, which you can do in advance using the form below or on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REGISTRATION<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration for karting slots takes place at the track caf\u00e9s (Pit Lane Caf\u00e9 on the outdoor track and Palace Caf\u00e9 on the indoor track). You can also book races within the next three days through Online Booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ONLINE BOOKING<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve made and paid for a reservation online, simply check in at the Pit Lane Caf\u00e9 counter and head to the track!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PIT LANE CAFE<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you come for individual drive without a reservation, first create a driver profile in advance through the app\/online or on-site. Purchase your desired race at the counter, and you’ll be ready to hit the track! Drivers are placed in the order of arrival. You can also book and pay for a race later on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAYMENT<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TYKY- and SMARTUM- sports vouchers, all major cards and cash are accepted at our karting tracks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HEIGHT LIMITS<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karting cars are subject to height limits.
On the Mika Salo Circuit outdoor track, the minimum driver height is 160 cm and the maximum is 200 cm. But children can also enjoy the thrill of speed in tandem cars with a parent or guardian. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARRIVING<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outdoor karting track is located right next to the amusement park, and the Pit Lane Caf\u00e9 for registration is located in front of the karting track. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your reserved driving time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WEATHER<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In rainy weather, the Mika Salo Circuit outdoor track will be out of service. In case of rain, all races will automatically be moved to the Palace Areena indoor karting hall. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

RACING EQUIPMENT<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All necessary equipment is available on site, except for driving shoes. So bring your own driving shoes: sneakers or trainers, for example. A race suit, helmet, helmet hood and gloves are available on site for driving, and we wash and disinfect the equipment after each use. You can also use your own driving equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAFETY<\/strong> <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karting has a zero-tolerance policy: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited.
 
Before driving, on both the indoor and outdoor circuits, drivers are shown safety instructions on a TV screen. Please read the instructions carefully and follow them during your visit.
 
 Moving in the pit area is only allowed with the permission of the pit staff.
 
Any driver who deliberately damages a car, for example, by driving in a careless and illegal manner, will be liable to pay compensation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TANDEM KARTS\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a few two-seater tandem karts available, which small children can ride in. The karts are intended to drive with children, not for racing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
